Digi 101 @ two peas in a bucket by Erica Hernandez.

The February challenge was a scraplift from the 2peas gallery. This is my attempt at re-creating this lovely lo about her son from Idianem. Both our sons have moved home over the last few months so her lo really had meaning for me. Both our los are created from free digikits available on 2peas.

International Scrapbooking Day Party!

Thought I might have a go at this. I’ve already downloaded two freebies but will have to investigate the international times to find out when the challenges appear in BST!

April Challenge # 8. On the edge.

I love this photo of DD and I so this was the perfect one to include in this challenge. ….to use edges to block out all the debris of a take-away meal! I dusted off my only punch, a small butterfly, and my two pairs of edging scissors. Used buttons, lace, butterflies and stickers to camouflage the other edges of the photo!

Digi 101 @ two peas in a bucket by Erica Hernandez.

I’ve just found this free class at 2 peas and decided to have a go, even though I’m so far behind! This entry is for the January 2010 challenge. The class is monthly and includes tuition videos, challenge and notes including this month, a very useful shortcuts list for Photoshop Elements. There are also many handy tips and hints on the forum. Really worth looking at if you want to start out in digi or just beginning and want a few extra challenges. 2 peas also have free digi kits to download!

April Challenge # 7. One Colour.

I took some photos of the gazanias DD & family bought me and I was going to use yellow to remind us of sunshine. I’ve had some lime green Bazzil cardstock for a while so decided to use that as the flower centres are a lovely pale green…… green it is then!

Up & Running with Photoshop. Lesson 4.

This is the last full lesson for this course and I really enjoyed all the different tasks I did to finish the layout. I think the title and journalling turned out really well. GS does a little, funny dance everytime he hears some music and especially loves the percussive quality of these castanets!! Fingers in ears…..lah, lah, lah!!!!!!!

Up & Running with Photoshop. Bonus Assignment 3

It was DHs birthday this week, so we all met up at our house for a take-away from the Garam Masala and birthday cake made by yours truly!
